MPViewer was inspired by the speed and folder-first workflow of FSViewer for Windows, a tool I relied on for years whenever I needed to move through photographs quickly.
After switching to macOS, I searched for something with the same immediacy: fast folder browsing, effortless fullscreen inspection, practical metadata and controls that stay out of the way. I couldn't find the replacement I wanted, so I started building it.
